Carmen has been a counsellor in the Victoria area since 2016 and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC #14941). She has over 10 years experience working with youth in a therapeutic setting and believes teens are her greatest teachers.
Carmen works well with individuals, parents, couples, families, and polycules. She is a well-known counsellor with various Sex Positive and Pride organizations, and understands the unique lived experiences of those living in alternative or edge communities. Carmen always strives to build a welcoming atmosphere where clients can feel entirely whole and accepted for all they are.
Carmen offers telehealth sessions on Mondays, and Tuesdays. In-person sessions are offered on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. If you don’t see a time open please feel free to send her an email with your availability. There is often a flex spot here or there, especially for a video or phone session.
